Following an increase in shift patterns to service our ever-expanding client base, we are searching for Warehouse Operatives to join us on a permanent basis.

Bryson is the leading importer, manufacturer and distributor of fixings, temporary protection, and safety products, focused on; fast, direct supply to fit-out and refurbishment contractors across the UK.
Bryson was established in 1974 and has grown rapidly ever since, tripling in size in the last 5 years. The business is still managed by the original family that founded it and has grown due to providing a very high level of service, quality products and dedication to our customers' needs.
The Job:
Working on our late/ night shifts ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer operations. Ensuring familiarity with Bryson’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and compliance with employee responsibilities.
Bryson is a collaborative environment and part of this role will be to Implement new ideas and methods and continue to seek ways of both improving contribution to the organisation’s goals and enhancing the reputation of the company, as well as assisting the Warehouse Manager in the smooth transition and running of the Gatwick warehouse (GIDC) and working on some ad hoc projects that may arise within the operational and commercial sphere.
Main duties will include:
- Adhering to health and safety procedures
- Collating and processing initial order sheets for incoming and outgoing goods
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all goods are first in class
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Liaising with transport companies regarding timeframes and deadlines
- Picking and packing
- Making sure all stock is labelled and stored correctly
- Carrying out health and safety checks
- Reporting to and supporting senior staff members
- Preparing deliveries for van drivers
- Stock taking
- Labelling stock
- Operating front end loading equipment
- Inspecting incoming goods
- Completing tasks within allotted time frames
- Keeping designated areas clean and tidy
- At all times comply with company policies procedures and instructions
About you:
- Honest reliable and dedicated
- FLT License (desirable but not essential)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in stock management software (SAP would be an advantage)
- Physically fit
- Calm under pressure
- Excellent at problem solving
- Clear understanding and willingness to adhere to health and safety procedures
