Bryson Secures FF&E Contract for Landmark Sizewell C Nuclear Project
Bryson is pleased to announce it has been awarded the contract to deliver Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) for Sizewell C, one of the UK's most significant low-carbon infrastructure projects. Sizewell C will generate 3.2 GW of clean electricity, enough to power six million homes, and play a vital role in achieving the UK's net-zero targets and strengthening energy security.
A once in a generation opportunity for East Suffolk, Sizewell C is creating thousands of new jobs, apprenticeships, and training opportunities for the region. It has allocated £250m in local funding, and once operational it is expected to contribute £40m a year to the local economy and employ 900 people in high-skilled, well-paid jobs.
It will boost the local environment, too, with environmental projects - including three nature reserves it has created around the construction site - expected to increase local biodiversity by 19%.
Under this multi-year agreement, Bryson will supply and manage a comprehensive range of FF&E solutions, including Site Set-Up and Safety, Fire Equipment and Site Welfare, all delivered through Bryson's proven "Smarter, Faster, Greener" methodology - The Bryson Way.
Working closely with the Sizewell C team, Bryson will implement strategies that:
- Lower emissions and operational costs: through consolidated deliveries, local warehousing, and zero-to-landfill recycling supported by circular economy principles.
- Guarantee on time, in full delivery via a 100% in-house managed logistics service and centralised distribution hub.
- Support modern methods of construction (MMC) and digital transformation by utilising industry leading FF&E Management software BrysonBase® to manage major infrastructure projects efficiently and cost effectively.
- Provide seamless, integrated digital ordering from design to despatch to invoicing.
- Advance ESG commitments through UK sourced products, carbon reporting, local employment and social value funding initiatives.
