Plans in for £350m Leeds scheme
Plans have been unveiled for a £350m joint office, retail and residential development around what would be the tallest building in Yorkshire. These new plans are set to regenerate South Bank area of Leeds city centre.
A hybrid planning application has gone in for a 9 acre site in South Bank that seeks detailed planning permission for two office developments totalling 270,000 sq ft.
It has also submitted outline planning permission for the wider mixed-use development of up to 103,900 sq m of offices, retail, leisure, hotel, health, and up to 750 new homes, along with new public spaces and landscaping.
The scheme designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios would consist of a mix of buildings ranging from five to 40-storeys and would put Leeds on the map as a key European destination, creating an exciting gateway arrival point to the city from the south west
